Wall Of Sound was the side project of Mood II Swing, John Ciafone and Lem Springsteen, with a single release in 1992. Groovin reissues it in full: side A has “Penetration” and “8 Ways To Knock Down A Wall”, garage grooves with cut-up sax, organ and 303 bass; side B has two versions of “I Need Your Luv (Right Now)”, the Lem’s Church Mix and the Balo’s Banji Mix. Unmistakable drums, pure New York swing.
