Kerri Chandler 'You Are In My System (Original Deluxe)'

Way back in 1998, Kerri Chandler popped up in Ibadan Records with a killer deep house cover of the System's early 80s electro classic, 'You Are In My System'. 28 years on, the long-serving New Jersey producer has decided to revisit it. Check first the EP opening 2026 re-make featuring The System's original singer, Nic Murphy, a heavily electronic and pleasinglyt squelchy chunk of timeless US deep house with a subtle electrofunk twist. Chandler then offers up the '98 vocal version featuring Troy Denari - and a fine synth-bass breakdown - before delivering two more new mixes featuring Nic Murphy - the smoother, warmer, deeper and infectious '623 deluxe vocal' and a handy instrumental pass. Cracking stuff from Chandler as ever.
