The Joe Claussell-run label Sacred Rhythm lifts the lid on the final quarter of a recent 150-copy drive, 'Divine Harmonics Part 2', the cracking collab between he and Kuniyuki Takahashi. Takahashi, a veteran Japanese producer known variously by his multi-alias approach, each dependent on the style of music he's working in - also Forth, Frr Hive and Koss - flirts and flits over the near-same sound furthered by Claussell in America: spiritual house enlivened by the long-builds of ethno, hand percussion and jazz. 'From Then Until Now' is a veritable paraglide over easy scalic melodies and brushed drums, neither its original and dub versions giving up the kick drum quite so quickly as many dance hotheads would hope.
